About me

Tiritonga is a woman-led concept design and visual storytelling studio founded by Karolina Skorek, an award-winning visual artist, lecturer and PhD researcher based in North Wales. The studio creates symbolic visual worlds, key images, character-led concepts and narrative products for games, publishing, education, advertising and immersive experiences.

Karolina’s practice combines fine art photography, illustration, mixed-media image-making, folklore, dream symbolism and cinematic visual storytelling. Her work has been recognised internationally and exhibited across the UK and Europe, with a visual language shaped by myth, psychology, world-building and emotionally charged imagery.

Through Tiritonga, this artistic practice becomes a studio focused on creative direction, concept design, visual development and original IP. The studio is currently developing an original game-inspired universe through tabletop design, physical prototypes, printed products, workshops and learning experiences.

Tiritonga works with clients, collaborators and creative industry partners who need distinctive visual storytelling, atmospheric world-building, concept-led imagery, key art, illustration or creative direction for projects with a strong narrative identity.
